A/C Condensers The condenser is a very important part of the auto a/c system. It's job is to remove heat from the refrigerant. The condenser changes it from a hot vapor to a warm liquid. It is usually in the front of the car near the radiator. It is very important that the condenser be clean. It should be flushed whenever the compressor is changed. In some cases the condenser has to be replaced, due to the fact that flushing does not remove all the contamination.
